Chief Executive Officer
Stephen Stabile, MD, has held clinical and administrative positions in multi-cultural and linguistically diverse underserved settings throughout his career, focusing on care provision in Latino/a communities. He has extensive global health experience in Latin America. Prior to joining PrimeCare in 2013, he served as Associate Chief Medical Officer at the Cook County Health and Hospitals System, and served as lead for the system’s Patient-Centered Medical Home Initiative. Dr. Stabile is a board-certified family physician, with a Masters in Health Administration from Saint Louis University and a medical degree from the Baylor College of Medicine. He continues to see patients at our West Town Clinic in addition to his administrative responsibilities.
Chief Operating Officer & Chief Financial Officer
Joseph Moldovan is the Chief Operating Officer & Chief Financial Officer of PrimeCare. As a member of the senior leadership team, Mr. Moldovan oversees the management of all financial, operational, and human resource functions and is a contributor to the health center’s long-term strategy and vision. Since joining PrimeCare in 2014, his responsibilities include overseeing the organization’s clinic operations, accounting and financial reporting, contracts and grants management, payroll and human resources functions, budgeting, and capital development. Prior to joining PrimeCare, Mr. Moldovan worked at Alternatives, a Chicago-based social services agency, and Capital Link, a national non-profit founded by the National Association of Community Health Centers, several state Primary Care Associations, the Community Health Center Capital Fund and the Bureau of Primary Health Care to help health centers plan capital projects, finance growth and identify ways to improve performance. Mr. Moldovan holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Suffolk University and a Bachelor’s degree in Management from the University of Massachusetts.
Chief Medical Officer
Jim Christoforidis, MD, has been at PrimeCare for 16 years and became the Chief Medical Officer after two years as the organization’s interim Medical Director. Dr. Christoforidis has led PrimeCare’s high-achieving provider group’s efforts to deliver high quality, culturally sensitive, comprehensive primary and behavioral health care services to medically underserved and uninsured Chicagoans on the City’s near northwest side. He is a board-certified family physician who graduated from the Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine and completed his residency at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center here in Chicago.
Director of Finance & Administration
Christine Long is the Director of Finance & Administration. She joined the PrimeCare team in February 2015 and has over 13 years of experience in dual accounting/human resources roles, particularly in regards to non-profit health care. She has held a variety of positions in other types of organizations, such as distributors, hedge funds, and mutual funds. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Kent State University and a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management from University of Maryland University College. Her current responsibilities at PrimeCare include overseeing accounting, revenue cycle management, grants management, and data analysis. Ms. Long will also recommend and implement human resource objectives, including recruitment, benefits, payroll, employee relations, performance management, and compensation.
Director of Quality & Care Management
Arthur Hackett, RN, is the Director of Quality and Care Management at PrimeCare. He graduated from Rush University College of Nursing with a BSN in 2006. He joined the PrimeCare team in March, 2015. Before that, he worked in a variety of clinical settings, in which self-management coaching has always been front and center. Mr. Hackett’s current responsibilities at PrimeCare include developing and implementing PrimeCare’s improvement initiatives and overseeing the process of identifying high risk patients and providing them more focused, multidisciplinary care. He is extremely grateful for his passionate, caring staff of nurse and case managers, who provide individualized, patient-driven, self-management coaching to those most in need.
Director of Behavioral Health
Andrea Kuebbeler, LCSW, is the Director of Behavioral Health. She has over 20 years of progressive management experience overseeing and advocating for behavioral health services in underserved settings. Her skills include program development, staff management, budgeting and evidence based direct clinical care. Ms. Kuebbeler has a special interest in behavioral health interventions for struggling youth and young adults. Most recently, she has been the Clinical Director at Alternatives, Inc., a Chicago social service agency providing services to youth and families. Andrea holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Michigan and a Master of Arts in Social Work from the University of Chicago.
